Dryer cylinder

As the biggest and heaviest part of Paper Machine, the weight of drying section are 60% of the complete sets of paper machine, and the price will be 50% in the complete sets of paper machine. And the steam cost are 5-15% in the whole paper machine production consumption. 

So we can tell that the optimization design of the drying section are play a great role in improving production efficiency and reducing cost during the paper making process. 

And now, most of the paper machine are use steam heating rotary dryer to provide thermal energy, the thermal energy are deliver to the paper sheet by the dryer cylinder shell body. When the paper sheet pass through the drying section, the paper sheet moisture is generally reduced from 60% before entering the drying section to 5% after come out from drying section, and then go to the calender machine.
