Blind Drilled Press Roll

Blind-drilled press which is an upgraded structure based on grooved press, it is also the vertical dehydration. 

- This press roll surface with blind-drilled hole, and hole depth can be made between 7-12.5mm, the opening area is around 25-30% while grooved rolls’ is 17%. Thus, blind-drilled hole can contain more water after pressing wet paper because volume is about 3-5 times more than grooved type.

-Moreover, the press nip width of blind-drilled roll is also more wider when press nip under the same linear pressure, therefore the pressing time that wet paper sheet in this press nip can be further extended, so that paper sheet dryness can be improved further after press section.
