Grooved Press

In order to further improve dehydration more evenly and faster, Grooved press was designed which can reach higher paper dryness, but it won’t crush wet paper or have pressing mark after increasing the linear pressure.

-Groove press structure is similar to plain type, the main difference is covering many small & deep grooves on rubber surface. 
-Grooved press is the vertical dehydration, also is one the most effective structures for paper dewatering in press part. The wet paper is pressed by rolls and moisture in the pressure zone passes through machine felt in vertical direction into grooves, so that water will be removed directly under effects of centrifugal force during the high-speed rotating of grooved roll.

- Grooved press is also an economical type which is no need to connect vacuum system, furthermore, it is widely used for an upgrade project when replacing the normal plain press. Moreover, it could be also replacing the suction press even for high speed machine.
