Different Type of Screen Basket

Generally speaking there are two types of screen basket, one is wedge wire screen basket which we also call it Slot screen basket, and the other is Drilled type which we also call it hole Hole screen basket.

Different type of screen basket in different type of Application

According to the different type of pressure screen, the upflow coarse screen are generally uses hole screen basket, and the outflow pressure screen uses both slot and hole screen basket, which are designed according to actual process requirements.

And most of the inflow pressure screens use slot screen basket, and fiber fractionating screen generally only use slot screen basket.

Material Selection

For the screen basket material, generally speaking the screen wedge wire and drum plate are made by SS316,  it's due to the bar is contact with the pulp directly, so the material hardness and corrosion resistance has high requirements.

And the reinforcing ring and flange are made by SS304 material to achieve the purpose of cost saving.
